June 6 - Farr 30s own the racecourse for day 1 of the Onedesign Regatta PDF Print E-mail

The Farr 30 Class kicked off the OneDesign Regatta into high gear today. Paul Iffland and his RC ream popped off 4 square w/l 4 races in light air. Mark roundings were close with some having the entire fleet within a 2 minutes spread. Multiple lead changes occurred on most legs of the day. At days end, competitors enjoyed a CPYC style home cooked southern meal of barbeque pork, chicken and salmon prepared by Vice Commdore Nelson Stephenson. In addition, competitors enjoyed the Kattack replay of their races, tracked by individual transponders on each boat. Allen Clark, of photoboat had a slide show going of the days close action as well.
