2003 Acura SORC Miami Beach, FL February 26 - March 2

With the 2003 Acura SORC rapidly approaching, I would like to provide you with some basic event information. I hope you find the enclosed information useful. We look forward to seeing the Mumm 30 Class at this great event.

REGISTRATION
Online registration is available at www.acurasorc.com. Entry fees can be paid by check, wire transfer, or credit card (Master Card, Visa, and American Express accepted). Please note that all activities are included in the entry fees. For the latest information and updates, visit www.acurasorc.com.

LAUNCHING & STORAGE
We will be working with Fast Track for the launching of boats in the area. Please contact them directly at 401-845-0871 or tglackin@worldnet.att.net to set up launch services.

Two locations where boat storage is available prior to the event are Federal Self Storage in Ft. Lauderdale (954-525-3040) and Crandon Park Marina in Key Biscayne (305-361-1281). Crandon Park Marina also has trailer storage and a ramp. A public ramp is also located near the Miami Yacht Club, off of I-395, however no trailer storage is allowed in this area.

Equipment trailers will be allowed in the Miami Beach Marina starting Tuesday, February 25th. A fee per parking spot will be associated with this service and it is on a first come, first serve basis. All trailers must be removed by 11:00 AM on Monday, March 3rd. Please note that space is limited.

DOCKING
This year's docking reservations will be on a first-come-first-serve basis at Miami Beach Marina. To make reservations, please call Randi at 305-673-6000. Alternative docking will be at Miamarina at Bayside, 305-579-6955.

RACE COMMITTEE
Peter Reggio will be organizing the Race Committee for the Acura SORC. With his seasoned Race Committee, Peter's goal is to have little downtime between races, which will lead to more races per day.
