Mumm 30s in Tour de France a la Viole until 2008

The organization of the Tour de France a la Voile has decided to use the Mumm 30 until 2008. The boats durability, safety and speed in both strong breezes and light winds were all deciding factors.

The Tour de France a la Voile has gone from strength to strength in recent years, with this past summer's event sailed by a record number of boats (40), and the closest race for the top place in the event's history. After a month of competition, the race winner was decided in the final leg of the final race, with only 1.5 points separating the top two with a total of 1851.5 points.
