Louis Browne with Asterix, David Evans helming, won the UK Open Nationals held in Christchurch Bay by The Royal Lymington Yacht Club
over the weekend.
All six races took place with three exhilerating conditions on Saturday followed by lighter winds on Sunday.
1st: Asterix, Louis Browne, David Evans, Dave Lenz, Dan Howman, Vicky Lenz, Mat Kelly, Adrian Layton
2nd: Salvo, Peter Morton, Rachael Morton, Michael Armstrong, Nick Ryley, Luke Bradbury, James Hall, Paul Grant
3rd: White Shark, Geof Gibbons, Pamela Hanson, Nick Meadows, Matt Radmore, Charlie Odell, Laura Hodd, Nick Gibbons
The Race Committee did a good job and the owners present agreed that it made a welcome change to visit a different location and indicated that they would like to include more racing in Lymington/Christchurch Bay in the future if it is possible.
