Sept. 4 - A Letter from Ian Burman PDF  | Print |  E-mail

Dear M 30 Sailors,

After two great years working with your fleet, I need to let you know that I will no longer be serving as your Class Coordinator.  I have started a new job as the head coach of the Intercollegiate Sailing Team at the US Naval Academy.  The opportunity to move into this prestigious position was just too good to pass up, and while it would have been nice to remain with the class through the upcoming World Championship before assuming my new duties, the fall intercollegiate sailing schedule made such arrangements impossible.  While the search goes on for a new Class Coordinator, the existing team at Stagg Yachts will all be chipping in to take care of all necessary class issues.  This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it , This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it and This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it will be able to handle all of your questions and will be leading the class through the Worlds.

I would like to thank you all for making the last two years a great experience for me.  I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with some fantastic people and I will forever be grateful for the opportunities the M 30 Class has provided.  I feel the class has a tremendous future and I’m sure you will all enjoy great racing for years to come.

Sincerely,
Ian Burman
