Porto Cervo, Italy - After hours of waiting on the water, returning to shore and heading back out for another try, no races were completed on the second day of the 2007 Moby M 30 World Championship. Rain clouds surrounded the area, creating gusts that lasted temporarily, but significantly changed the wind direction. While the fleet was on the water the wind direction spun 360 degrees at least twice. PRO Peter Reggio and the team from the YCCS made a valiant effort to get a race off at the end of the day to no avail and the signal was made to send the fleet back to shore before the sequence could be completed.
Assotubi Mummy One still leads a talented and multinational fleet which includes four former M 30 World Champions and more top professionals than one can count. The owners will be treated to dinner tonight a the YCCS and racing will resume tomorrow at 1130.
