The Management group has issued five new rule interpretations. 

44.  Is it permissible to replace the original headsail luff groove device with a Harken Carbo Foil?

Yes.  As per class rules 3.4, 27.1, the management group may permit the change.  The headsail foil may be replaced with Harken Carbo Foil, part number 7000.12, provided the extrusion is cut to exactly eleven meters.

45.  Is it permissible to replace two blocks on the mainsheet fine tune with ratchet blocks?

Yes.  According to Class Rule 3.4.  The mainsheet fine tune blocks may be the original block, Lewmar part #29900211, Lewmar's equivalent replacement, part # 29901321, or the 40mm Smartratchet, Ronstan Part # RF 42100.

46.  Is it permissible to display advertising on the mast?

No.  Advertising may only be displayed where specifically allowed in Class Rule 2.6.1.

47.  Is it permissible to rig a trolley system on the boom for the spinnaker pole using shock cord?

 No.  As per Class Rule 3.4 the modification shall not be permitted. 

48.  Is it permissible to rig a shock cord retainer for the mast head spinnaker halyard?

Yes.  As per rules 3.4, 10.3, 19.11, 19.14, the addition will be permitted provided all halyards are rigged and used as originally intended.
