USA 61 - Habanero

Habanero (USA61) is a meticulously refurbished Farr 30. The mast and boom have been refinished and the sheaves and hardware replaced. The vang, tuff luff and standing rigging have been upgraded legally. (Including new rod and wire) The life lines, stern gates and pads are new and the stanchions and pulpit are re-set and backed with G-10. The boat was stripped of all Carroll Marine gel-coat and refinished and painted By Windward Yacht and the world famous Nacho. Windward did the bottom at the same time with proline and it was wet sanded and is race ready. The rudder was refitted and trued at the same time. The cockpit and bow area are all nonskid and the forward hatch was replaced as were the companionway hatch, hatch board and port lights. The interior was painted throughout and the stove area, sink and ice chest were upgraded and painted. All interior lights and wiring are new. The cushions are new upgraded foam and covered with sumbrella. All halyards, tweekers and running rigging are new and of the highest quality including new spin sheets and jib sheets. There are class required lifejackets a porta-potty and stove. The sail drive and shift mechanism are new and perfectly adjusted. The internal wiring and battery mount are new. All running lights and interior lights are either new or refitted. The engine has been pulled and inspected by CC Marine. The trailer was sand blasted and rust primered then painted to match the hull of Habanero complete with name. All of the brakes, spindles, bearings, tires and wheels have been replaced. The yard dolly and standing dolly are new as are the brake assist, wiring and lights.
